At DEPS Autism, we are committed to providing high quality intervention services for children with autism. We understand that early detection of autism and early intervention are key factors to providing children and their families with the best outcomes.
Our multidisciplinary approach to autism intervention integrates expertise and experience from several different and related professional disciplines.
Our team of diagnosticians includes licensed and certified psychologists, educational specialists and pediatric specialists who focus solely on developmental and autism assessments. Once diagnosed, children can move over to our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy team, which consists of licensed Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) who specialize in the skill development of children with Autism.
What We Do
DEPS clinicians prioritize Autism diagnostics for children from 12 months to 5 years of age to help families access support services as early as possible.
Naturalistic Behavior Therapy
Our clinicians are trained in the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support early learning of communication, self-help skills and appropriate play skills. Because we prioritize very young learners, we take a natural environment (NET) approach to ensure our services are as developmentally appropriate and engaging as possible.
Our Autism Intervention team is currently in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and working on becoming credentialed with other funders.
We understand that it takes a village to raise a child and we expect input from all stakeholders in the child’s life. We want to work with your team of therapists, school professionals, and medical experts to help create a full picture of functioning across people and settings.
We are here to support guardians through treatment strategy trainings, helping identify ways to make their home environment more conducive to learning, and how to generalize the knowledge they gain from DEPS into their social support network.
We embrace the neurodiversity of our clients and are committed to treat the whole-child by consulting with developmental experts, continually assessing skills, and modifying treatment as needed.
